This piece was based on the late Medival tapestry The Unicorn in Captivity which depicts a lonely magical beast trapped inside a tiny fence.  He is at once highly visible, yet completely restained.  For this weeklong piece, a performer appears for two hours each day.  The installation changes each day in relation to the performer’s body with varying levels of confinement.
